By accessing or using BookTil, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

Platform Status

BookTil is a technology platform only that provides booking tools and a business directory.

BookTil is NOT:

  • A service provider
  • An employer
  • A contractor
  • A broker or agent
  • A party to any transaction

BookTil does not provide, control, or guarantee any services listed on the platform.

Independent Contractor Marketplace

All businesses on BookTil are independent third parties. Nothing in these Terms creates:

  • Employment relationships
  • Partnerships
  • Joint ventures
  • Agency relationships

Each business operates independently and is fully responsible for its services.

No Transaction Involvement

BookTil does not participate in or control any transactions. We are not responsible for:

  • Service quality
  • Scheduling issues
  • Cancellations or no-shows
  • Pricing or fees
  • Customer satisfaction

All agreements are strictly between the customer and the business.

Payments and Financial Liability

BookTil does NOT collect payments from customers. BookTil does not:

  • Process payments
  • Hold funds
  • Issue refunds
  • Handle disputes
  • Manage chargebacks

Each business is solely responsible for:

  • Collecting payments
  • Handling chargebacks
  • Issuing refunds
  • Managing billing disputes
  • Creating and enforcing their own payment policies
Customers agree that all financial issues must be handled directly with the business.

No-Show and Cancellation Protection

BookTil is not responsible for:

  • Missed appointments
  • Late cancellations
  • No-show fees
  • Refund eligibility

Each business must set and enforce its own policies.

Business Compliance

Each business is solely responsible for:

  • Licensing and certifications
  • Insurance coverage
  • Compliance with all applicable laws
  • Taxes and reporting obligations

BookTil does not verify or guarantee compliance.

Directory Disclaimer

BookTil provides listings for visibility only. We do not guarantee:

  • Leads or inquiries
  • Confirmed bookings
  • Search rankings
  • Platform exposure

User Content

You retain ownership of your content. You grant BookTil a license to use, display, and promote your content. You are responsible for ensuring your content:

  • Is accurate
  • Is lawful
  • Does not violate any third-party rights

Prohibited Use

You may not:

  • Engage in illegal activity
  • Misrepresent services
  • Post harmful or false content
  • Attempt to disrupt the platform

Third-Party Services

BookTil may integrate with third-party platforms. We are not responsible for:

  • Their services
  • Their security
  • Their policies

Use them at your own risk.

Account Responsibility
You are responsible for your account and all activity that occurs under it.

Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to BookTil at any time for violations of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

Disclaimer of Warranties

BookTil is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no guarantees regarding:

  • Performance
  • Availability
  • Accuracy
  • Results

Maximum Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by Louisiana law, BookTil is not liable for:

  • Loss of income or profits
  • Business losses
  • Service disputes
  • Property damage
  • Personal injury
  • Fraud or misconduct
  • Third-party actions
Total liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid to BookTil in the past 12 months or $50, whichever is less.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold BookTil harmless from any claims related to:

  • Your business
  • Your services
  • Your customers
  • Your use of the platform

Arbitration and Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution
You agree to contact us first to attempt to resolve disputes informally.

Binding Arbitration
All disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, not in court.

Class Action Waiver
You agree to bring claims individually and not as part of a class action.

By using BookTil, you waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in class action lawsuits.

Louisiana Jurisdiction
All matters are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana. Any legal proceedings must take place in Louisiana.

Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of BookTil after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
